However, a website is no substitute for experience and we would welcome you should you wish to come and view our school. We are always very pleased to welcome visitors and new children into our community. If you would like to have a look around our school and to meet with me, or would like to discuss the possbility of sending your child to St. Nicholas Cof E Primary School, please do book an appointment through Mrs Meldrum in the school office, or click this button to submit an online request.
Learning is a journey that enables students to prepare for their futures. Our motto, “caring and preparing for a confident future,” is something that we firmly believe in and underpins everything that we do. We take our responsibilities towards education very seriously and, in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community, we aim to prepare children through the formal and informal curriculum for global citizenship. We do this in a safe, secure and thriving environment. We aim to provide children with a love of learning, social competence and the best possible tools to succeed, personally, academically, spiritually, morally and socially in a fast paced, ever changing and technological 21st Century.
We are a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School and we have worked hard to develop the Christian ethos of our school which is reflected through our work and through our successes. We are a real community and work together for the good of all of our learners. The caring, Christian and ethos of the school is firmly based on our core values, remind all of us that we must consistently strive to achieve and exceed our potential.
Thank you for visiting our website.
Yours faithfully,
L. Pigram
Headteacher.
