Our governors have a wealth of experience and expertise in many different areas, not just education and are committed to helping St. Nicholas CofE Primary School become the best it can possibly be.
School Governors play an important role in the strategic leadership of the school. The Governing Body of St. Nicholas CofE Primary School comprises of thirteen members, five of whom are elected by the parents, a County Council representative, 3 Foundation Governors, 2 Community Governors, a teacher Governor and the Headteacher. A Clerk is appointed by the Governing Body to carry out administrative tasks as required.

There is a very active, dedicated team of volunteers who support St. Nicholas School. They work tirelessly to raise funds and to enhance the resources available to the school
All parents are automatically members of our Parent – Staff Association as soon as their child is admitted to the school.
FOSNS brings together the staff, parents and friends of the school for the benefit of the children’s education. The profits from social and fund-raising activities are donated to the school and spent entirely on improving the education provided for every child.
Committee members are always pleased to hear from anyone willing to lend a helping hand or about any new ideas for future activities. Please help your child by supporting The Friends of St Nicholas School.
St. Nicholas CofE Primary School has strong links with St. Nicholas Church in Rawreth. Until recently, the school and the church were sited next door to each other.
The Rector, Revd. Richard Jordan is a frequent visitor to the school and has worked with the children on a number of different projects.
