Our School Community

Our learners are at the heart of everything that we do. They are regularly consulted and contribute to major decisions that affect the life of our school.

The children at St. Nicholas have been involved in a number of projects over the past year. These include:

Being involved in interview processes

Forming an active School Council that has its own budget

Taking part in activities with other schools, as in the local School Council conference

Linking with partners in other schools

Contributing to the selection of the school’s core valuesNominating a “Friday Hero”

Working to raise money for less fortunate children/people Running their own Snack-Shack enterprise

Contributing to the redesign of the curriculum

Working with visitors from a range of backgrounds

Forming an Eco Warrior council

Buying and preparing their own snacks
